A Great Weekend!

This past weekend was a great weekend!

First, the OBu Team trained 50 Zambian Baptist youth in evangelism. Thanks to your financial support we had the supplies and food we needed to host this great group!

The best part was when we sent them out for practice in the afternoon. They came back with reports that they shared with 22 people and two of them made decisions to trust in Jesus and repent of sin!

When I asked if they were successful, the groups that did not lead witness a decision for Christ said “no”. However, I encouraged them that success in evangelism is sharing the gospel with lost people. It is our job to share and the Lord’s job to save. The only way to fail in evangelism is to not share the gospel.

Then, on Sunday we celebrated 1 year of Mukuba Baptist Church! We did so by encouraging one of our OBU students to preach.

The we finished the morning with fried chicken, cake, testimonies, and dancing!
